March 15 – April 7, 2013 (the ribbon cutting begins at 10am on March 15! at the historic Pyron Home located at 212 W. Dobbs)
TEN miles of azaleas, dogwoods, tulips, blue bonnets – all the spring flowers you can imagine. Now, girlfriend (or guyfriend) I ask you – where else have you ever heard of an Azalea trail? Where else can you walk for 10 miles and be surrounded by flowers?

The Old Firehouse Movie Theater in Edom is presenting, The Happy Poet, on Saturday evening, February 9th. This movie premiered at the SXSW film festival and has won several awards for it’s creativity. The movie is about one man’s inspiration to provide a healthy alternative to the unhealthy world of fast food options and the struggles he is faced with. It’s a though-provoking and interesting movie and it will make you laugh.

IT’S FINALLY HERE! THE FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS IN EDOM IS THIS WEEKEND!
Edom, Texas is known for it’s gifted artist community and each October they pool their unique talents, along with artists from the surrounding communities, to present this fantastic festival for the local and surrounding communities to come show and admire the creativity. Painters, jewelers, welders, glass blowers, wood carvers, weavers, musicians, and many more will offer one-of-a-kind artifacts that you will probably want to own…or at least purchase for a special someone. Christmas is coming the goose is getting fat…..
